Kinect For PCs Near
PrimeSense is currently in the process of applying Microsoft’s patented Kinect chip technology to the PC.
The Israeli company is working on the device that will be able to function with the computers just as well as with the actual gaming console.
PrimSense which is the original company behind the chip which is being used to power the motion-sensitive Kinect/Xbox 360 was launched on November 30th and since its release date it has become incredibly popular with gamers all over the world.
This revolutionary device makes using a controller for certain games unnecessary, a truly exciting development in the world of gaming technology.
PrimeSense has come out with what it has been calling the “PrimeSensor”, a device which is similar to the Kinect and still work on infrared technology as well as CMOS cameras in order to achieve the same kind of motion detection and gesture capturing capabilities.
One of the founders of PrimeSense, Tamir Berliner, says that while the product is still in the developmental phase it is very promising and they are expecting it to be a complete hit on the market upon release.
